Below you will find the features and optimizations released on 14 September 2020.
Connect
What’s New in Release 88:
- We added a new product feature called Media Item Metadata that will allow users to store metadata specific to Media Items for descriptive information that they can’t put into a tag or the file name. Users can create Media Type Metadata Fields, as well as custom metadata fields, and populate these fields on Media Items once ingested into Connect. Users can also import metadata to a Media Item so they can leverage the CSV Import functionality.
- We made an improvement to the Netflix Backlot Delivery that prevents a potential error due to triggering a delivery with no request selected. Now the “Submit” button is disabled if no request is selected.
- We updated the Language field on the MediaWarp page so that users can utilize the search function for Audio Language selection.
- We made improvements to FTP deliveries so that they are more reliable. Users will now notice that copy FTP activity scales automatically, and now 20 deliveries can be made at the same time.
- We made improvements to the CSV Import feature so that the user now receives immediate feedback on the progress of the import on the frontend.
- We added alerts that will let users know if a CPL has any issues with track lengths or marker positions in order to prevent users from sending packages through to Photon QC with incorrect lengths.
