What’s New in Release 85:
- We’ve made several improvements to Deep Analysis: Image Comparison and Deep Analysis: Timed Text. For Image Comparison, users can now view the options an existing image comparison analysis was run with, including the scans and essences used as well as the detection method. When viewing an image comparison analysis, users can now select a matching pair of markers by using the standard marker preview button. We also updated the timeline with compared essences, added two video players side by side for playing back a matching pair of markers, and updated the Image Compare dialogue with an Essence Selector. For Deep Analysis: Timed Text, users now have the option to select which marker group (i.e., text overlap or scene overlap) to output in the PDF report.
- We created the backend architecture for the Task Management Service and revamped usability on the front end for a better user experience when viewing, creating, working on, and reviewing tasks.
- Users now have the ability to preview CPL markers on the QC Workbench Player. QC operators can now see the markers that the mastering team set on the CPL before they send it off to deliver.
- UX/UI improvements
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an error with trying to add a Drop Frame bug in a MediaConvert job
- Fixed an error where MediaConvert was not running Smart Transcode on input CPLs with more than 10 audio tracks.
- Fixed an issue where the Job Details page was crashing.
- Fixed an issue where the user could not select an air date prior to 1995 for the Date Attribute. Now users can select an air date starting from 1920 in this dropdown.
- Fixed an issue on the Assets page where the “Created By” and “Updated By” fields were incorrectly showing “System” as the user instead of the actual users.
- Fixed an issue where the full S3 location was displayed for flat packages after IMF to Flat transcodes. Now the S3 bucket is not exposed here.
- Fixed an issue where inputted info would be lost upon saving a Task.
- Fixed an issue where duplicating a batch needed to be refreshed in order for the user to see the new cloned batch. Now the modal closes after the batch is cloned and automatically refreshes the information.
- Fixed an issue where there was a single-use limitation for any Package template in a single Batch, so now users can use it multiple times with multiple Platforms in the same Batch while creating Jobs from inside the Batch.
- Fixed an issue where the video in the AI speech-to-text tab was not jumping to the correct timecode (playing/paused).
- Fixed an issue where the Download Report link was not present in the Auto QC section for Baton.
- Fixed an issue where the Probing Media task was failing upon ingest
- Fixed an issue on the Deep Analysis results page that caused the pagination to reset to Page 1 when switching between Pass/Fail statuses on a marker.
- Fixed an issue where the start timecode format was not taken into account when adding a Marker on a CPL, causing errors.
- Fixed an issue where selecting an Asset from the Asset Navigator was not showing the Entity Type from the Details tab.
- Fixed an issue where ACES files were not generating cache after re-inspecting the files. Now the video playback works and the cache is generated for the files while re-inspecting with Preview Caching enabled in Org Settings.
