Connect Improvements

Added support for Language Code es-419

Users can now select es-419 as a supported language code: 

1) in MediaWarp and have the resulting MXF contain this code as its language, or

2) on a media item that doesn’t have a language code specified.

Custom Plugin Support

Users can now open new Connect tabs on the media item details page from inside the plugin.

Deep Analysis - Timed Text Layout QC

The following features have been added to the Deep Analysis feature:

• Frame accurate text detection
• Timed Text QC (onscreen graphics and text overlap detection)
• Added option in Deep Analysis Review/Results screen to Compare
• Added marker options "Pass", "Fail", "Notes"
• Generate PDF report
• Added new marker types support - “Text Overlap” and “Scene Overlap”
• Generate "test data"

Netflix Backlot Re-Delivery Improvements and Fine Tuning

The following improvements have been made to the Netflix Backlot Re-Delivery feature

• Package IDs and request IDs for re-deliveries are now exposed on the front end
• Users can deliver the same package against multiple Backlot requests
• Users can now search by package ID and request ID
• On Delivery Package Page, users can add new delivery type
• Package page will now refetch after a Backlot delivery is performed

Asset Navigator

Added the ability to press a button to see more assets in the asset navigator.

Asset Details V2 UI Improvements

Fine-tuning usability improvements have been made to the Asset Details page.

Event based API integration 

Added events for workflows for building an event-based API to allow third party systems to react to Connect events.

Metadata Service Improvements

The following improvements have been made to the Metadata Service:

• Users can now filter by entity type
• Added line numbers to metadata editor

Usability Improvements

The following improvements have been made to the usability of Connect

• Separated Create Package button into three buttons: Create IMF, Create Flat, Create Package from Template
• Can Enable Metadata Service V2 within Organisation
• Added player and moved QC Approve buttons on the QC tab of the Media Details

Connect Defects Fixed

Ingesting m2v Files

Fixed an issue where users were receiving an error when attempting to ingest m2v files into Connect.

Netflix Backlot GraphQL errors

Fixed an issue where users received a confusing error message while searching their request while attempting to deliver to Netflix Backlot. Users will now receive a direct, user-friendly error message of what exactly the issue is.

MediaView Output Duration between DWH and Connect

Fixed an issue where the MediaView Output duration differed between data warehouse and Connect

Metadata Service Fix

Solved an issue where users importing a CSV received a bulkUpsertAttributeValue error message.

Discover Improvements

Publish/Unpublish Logic

Improved the Publish/Unpublish logic on the node page 

Settings Details

Added descriptive details for some of the Discover settings

Metadata Service Discover Integration

The following improvements have been made to the Discover integration with the Connect Metadata Service

• Included metadata info in updateNode mutation
• Improved the Publish/Unpublish logic on the node page
• Moved remaining NodeField properties to Metadata Service
• Replaced node fields query with Metadata Service queries
• Moved remaining NodeField properties to Metadata Service

UX Improvements

The following improvements have been made to the user experience for Discover:

• Added a Date Picker range selection functionality to the Theme scheduling
• Changed the width of confirmation screens to be narrower
• Moved “Billing History” inside of “Statistics”. “Billing History” and “Subscriptions” are now two different lists inside the same tab.
• Made all actions universally white-colored.
• Added stricter confirmation for when a user adds/removes Applications from a User Pool the selection

Discover Defects Fixed

Media Processing Status

Fixed an issue with inconsistencies in node media processing status.
